The FEMA Office of External Affairs has posted a position description for a full-time, two year temporary appointments under FEMA’s Incident Management CORE Program (Cadre of On-call Response/Recovery employees). CORE’s will have the opportunity to assist in the coordinated response and recovery efforts of impacted citizens, communities, Local, Tribal, and State governments. Among other duties, the Assistant External Affairs Officer – Private Sector (AEPS), serves as central point of information and collaboration between FEMA disaster response and recovery and the private sector.
