In the wake of the Chilean earthquake tragedy, Angelenos are urged to take a moment to review their own emergency disaster plans. If you do not have one, start by visiting http://readyla.org/ and learn how you can prepare your family, workplace, business and community before a disaster occurs.

Remember, we live in Los Angeles and it’s not a question of if a disaster will happen, it’s a matter of when. Ask yourself, am I prepared? It’s time to get ready LA.
