Preparing for Recovery Following Disaster

Long-Term Recovery

The recovery process is a long road which extends all the way through repairing or rebuilding and ultimately to achieving recovery goals and finding a "new normal." Los Angeles Region Community Recovery Organization (LARCRO) is here to support those community members who are struggling with their recovery from disaster. LARCRO follows National VOAD (NVOAD) standards for regional long-term recovery groups. NVOAD's Long-Term Recovery Guide and Long-Term Recovery Quick Reference Guide are two key resources to access as you prepare for long-term recovery following disaster.
