Thank you for supporting ENLA! Your contributions help us continue our mission to enhance the capacity of nonprofits, community and faith-based organizations, government agencies, and the private sector in managing emergencies.
Emergency Network Los Angeles Inc. (ENLA) is a California nonprofit organization and is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
We are excited to announce that ENLA has been awarded a $70,000 California Fire Foundation (CFF) Disaster Relief & Recovery Grant, focusing on Recovery Planning, Public Education, and Community Outreach Campaigns. The primary objective of ENLA’s Resilient & Prepared Community Partners Initiative is to provide nonprofit, community and faith-based organizations with the resources they need to be better prepared for disasters and emergencies — resulting in better prepared, disaster resilient communities. Thank you CFF, a Gold Star Sponsor! (December 15, 2025)
We are pleased to announce that ENLA was again awarded a $10,000 grant from Edison International for its Energizing Resiliency & Equity in Emergency Management program. Edison supports programs focused on electrical safety, emergency/disaster preparedness, community resiliency, and wildfire safety and mitigation for our most vulnerable community members. Thank you to our Bronze Star Sponsor! (November 18, 2025)
ENLA received a tremendous amount of support in Fiscal Year 2024/25 for operations during the wildfire crisis, not only from organizations, foundations, and individuals, but from the business community as well. This year, we received notable donor support from:
- Equity ResidentialFoundation ($10,000),
- East West Bank ($5,000),
- Shinhan Bank America ($5,000),
- eHarmony ($5,000), and
- HGA/HGA employees ($4,000).
We are grateful for their support!
On 6/12/25, ENLA received a contribution of $38,792 from Tenrikyo Mission Headquarters in America. Their donation was utilized to support relief and recovery efforts for the Los Angeles County wildfires – efforts such as the Multi-Agency Resource Centers (MARCs) in Pasadena and Pacific Palisades, which served thousands of wildfire victims. We are grateful to Tenrikyo Mission Headquarters in America for supporting the work of ENLA as a Silver Star Sponsor!
On 3/28/25, the Los Angeles Charitable Association (LACA), a 501c3 charity, overseen by Los Angeles Federal Credit Union (LAFCU), donated $25,000 to the Emergency Network Los Angeles, also a 501c3. ENLA thanks LAFCU for their generous support and is thrilled to recognize them as a Silver Star Sponsor!
We are pleased to announce that on 2/4/25, ENLA was awarded a $14,000 discretionary grant by LA County Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath, Third Supervisorial District. The funding enables ENLA to offer emergency preparedness trainings and exercises for nonprofit, community and faith-based organizations active in the VOAD, as well as provide disaster preparedness educational materials and public safety paraphernalia for CBOs and FBOs to use at community events. Thank you Supervisor Horvath and SD3 for being a Bronze Star Sponsor!
We are excited to announce that California Community Foundation (CCF) has awarded ENLA a $200,000 grant. The funding supports ENLA’s wildfire response, as well as general operations and programming. In blues skies as well as grey skies, ENLA plays a role in all cycles of emergency management. This grant is critical for ENLA to meet one of its primary objectives — strengthening emergency management infrastructure across LA County. We are grateful to CCF, our Platinum Star Sponsor! (January 2025)
We are pleased to announce that ENLA has been awarded a $6,000 micro grant from SBP (share/build/prepare) — a national social impact organization dedicated to helping communities shrink the time between disaster and recovery by rebuilding homes, increasing preparedness and resilience, and improving systems to better serve the needs of all Americans, everywhere.
We are pleased to announce that ENLA has been awarded $2,500 in funding from The Brotman Foundation — a private foundation that places an emphasis on supporting the environment and public safety, as well as the arts, child welfare, and cutting-edge medical research.
